Panatrim Signs

What are Panatrim Signs

Simply put panatrim signs are signs mounted into an aluminium frame. Panatrim is the term given to a type of Aluminium extrusion that is commonly used in signage.

The extrusion is used to frame panels made from different substrates. It consists of a channel that can accept substrates of different thicknesses.

The substrates, in many cases have a strip of material glued to the top edge. This allows the substrate to be hung onto the panatrim as shown in the image.

What sizes can I have?

The extrusions come in 6m (meter) lengths and if you require longer than that it is just a matter of adding another section of extrusion. This means that you can have virtually any size.

One point to remember is that the substrates or panels that fit into the extrusions have size limits, but again if a very large sign is required then the panels are repeated until the required length is achieved.

Are Panatrim Signs Expensive?

No they are not. They are very cost effective and are quick to assemble and install. Prices are dependent on the square area of the required sign.

Can I have Illumination with Panatrim Signs?

Yes, definitely. There are two ways. The first is by adding spot lights or swan lights which overhang the sign and illuminate it from the front. The second is by adding a Trough Light which extends the full length of the sign, still overhanging, and illuminating from the front.
